Coach Stephanie Barnes is the Head Swimming Coach at TMI Episcopal and the San Antonio Splash. Her resume spans three decades and includes Head Coach of Lewis University, Assistant Coach at Auburn University and the 2002 Women's National Champions, Volunteer Coach for The University of Texas Men's Team, and Associate Head Swim Coach at the University of South Carolina.
She is also a multiple-time YMCA champion, Junior National and Senior National runner-up and finalist, 2-time Olympic Trial qualifier, and an NCAA All-American.
As the head coach of TMI Episcopal, Coach Barnes has led the team to multiple TAPPS regional championships as well as two TAPPS state championships (boys 2018 and girls 2021).
The San Antonio Splash was won their league championship 4 out of its 5 years in existence and is the home to hundreds of amazing swimmers and families loyal to its mission of fun and fast swimming!
